Species
Fae come in a variety of species, though they are all fae, they are even more diverse then the human population which far out numbers them in this day and age. Normally the fae are separated into courts, some species are only in one court and some are shared between them, though due to the rooms set up for fae all fae are welcome from any court they once inhabited. Below is a sample branch of faes from the books, of course we are open to more suggestions if you have an idea, keep in mind most of the fae in London would be the traditional UK faes.
• Brownies: In legend they clean your house while you sleep and various other house hold jobs, they all have powerful levels of Telekenesis which they use to help them in their tasks. Brownies who have gone mad or become dangerous are known as “Boggarts”
• Demi-Fey: They are thought to be the very essence of Faerie, it is said where the demi-fae go, so too does faerie. The size of small birds generally, some have been known to be able to become invisible, become human sized and have one of the most powerful glamours, capable of making a person orgasm from the imagined feelings.
• Goblins: Once their own kingdom, during the Goblin wars they where folded into the Unseelie court, though they do retain a smaller separate court. Goblins are ugly by human standards and view anything which comes from the body more precious than Gold, they also are incredibly aggressive and violent in nature. Extra limbs, blemishes and other “ugly” marks in humanity are viewed as beauty marks. Amongst the goblins there are two sub species, Snake and spider goblins as well as normal goblins. Any deal struck with a goblin should be done so with set rules, or they may take extra liberties if not told otherwise, also it is an insult not to leer at a beautiful woman in their culture, implying she is infertile and ugly. It should be noted, Goblins do not have spell casters any more thanks to the goblin wars, they do however posse a strength greater than most fae and rivals that of top tier lycanthropes (alphas and leader alphas).
• Red Cap: Though they belong to the goblin court, they are not true goblins, rather a distant cousin at best, they are larger in size, have large red or green eyes and wear caps which they soak in the blood of their foes and victims, they posse great strength rivalling that of a jack in irons though they are far more violent despite being smaller, around 6 or 7 feet.
• Jack –In- Irons: A large giant which haunts the lonely roads, they posse strength above any lycanthrope or goblin, though they tend to be decently natured. They have the body of a human and a face with boar tusks, double tusks are highly valued in their culture and curved tusks at the end are consider marks of being virility. It should be noted they are around 13ft tall and posse no glamour, pure breeds are rare in London unless there runts.
• Nightflyers: A species of almost manta like fae which belong to the Slaugh, they are extremely strong, rivalling or greater than goblins possibly in strength and durability. They are known to have “nests” of tentacles on their body, these vary in size, large arms for holding, medium ones for manipulating and short small ones are essentially sensitive sexual organs. “Royal Drones” are males who are fertile males which have a spine running the length of their penis and means there fertile, this makes interspecies sex... painful and dangerous. Females are called nighthags.
• Phoukas: They where a human like fae with the ability to become a Dog, Horse or in some rare cases they can become other animals, they can speak in animal form as well. These animals are always dark haired or black haired animals.
• Selkie: A fairy who appears human but carries with it a seal skin (or keeps it hidden) they can pull this skin on and become a seal, if a Selkie skin is destroyed it becomes forlorn and will often kill itself. They can take off their seal skin and become human once again, it should be noted that they will always love the sea more than anything else.
• Sidhe: The ruling class, house heads and the royalty of the courts. They have tri coloured irises and bright warm glowing skin. They posse strength that rivals the weaker alpha lycanthropes and are capable of of with standing pretty much any vampires mental powers and out fighting any lycanthrope even if unarmed, being immortal.. helps.
