[orange]Purebloods[/orange]
Purebloods are the most common tigers. The seat of power for the pureblooded tigers is in China but there are additional locations for the clans. However, all clans answer to the Chang which lives in China. Each clan is seperated into colors (White Clan, Black Clan, etc) but the London group of tigers is a mixed set of colors. Still, it is not uncommon for purebloods to still reference themselves as 'Of the White Clan' or whichever clan they originally belong to.
[orange]Infected, Accidental[/orange]
Infected tigers are far more rare in this era. Anyone accidently infected is brought before the Little Queen of their clan. It is at this point that they are first examined. Should the Little Queen find them acceptable, then they are permitted to live and grow. At a later point, they will be brought before her again to prove their worthiness to live as a Tiger. The Chang, however, has the final say on infecteds and can veto the decision of the Little Queen. To accidently infect a human is something that is forbidden. Punishment depending on the whim of the Chang (anything from a trinket to death). The only thing worse then infecting someone accidently is to be the person who is accidently infected. These tigers are viewed as having less worth then a grain of dirt.
[orange]Infected, Gifts[/orange]
To be given the infection of a tiger is considered a gift from the clan. It is rarely given but when it does, the human has demonstrated such a worthiness that the Chang has agreed to allow them to become a tiger. It is an honor rarely bestowed. When someone is given the gift, they are given a slightly elevated position in the eyes of the clan. While not as worthy as a true blooded tiger, they are still treated better then humans or accidently infected tigers.
[orange]Physical Traits[/orange]
Infected tigers will merely have a 'lycanthrope' shine to their eyes.
Pureblooded tigers will have the hair color match up to the color of their fur in tiger form.
Noble born tigers possess pure blue eyes, marking them seperate and above the rest of the tigers.
[orange]What are they doing in London?[/orange]
Tigers in London are exiled or working under the whim of the Chang and her Little Queens. The exiles have been sent to London as a method of punishment. They are limited to the city and the surrounding area of Britain. Those that are working for the Chang are either the 'keepers' of the exiled or attempting to determine if London is a suitable location for expansion.
