======Weak======
* -Enhanced Body-:
All shifters are born into their powers, they have them from the moment their born till the moment they die, these abilities help them stay alive as long as they do, Shifters are stronger, faster and harder than their human cousins. This ability grants all shifters the following abilities, increased strength, speed, senses, regeneration, increased metabolism, higher resistance to poisons and drugs it also allows them to like lycanthropes sense when people are lying through their senses. It should be noted while these are higher than a humans they are not higher than a lycanthropes.
* -Metaphysical Animal-:
All shifters gain the ability to shield and aura lash with this ability, striking out even if it is feebly at enemies with their metaphysical energy. This energy is like a lycanthropes or vampires but is far weaker on average than either of the others and has a much more natural control to it than either of the others as there born with this power.
* -The animal I become-:
Shifters can effortlessly shift between human and animal form, suffering no fatigue from this, nor do they have to shift on the full moon, though a dog with a wolf pack for safety may do so to hunt with the pack. Shifters do not suffer from the stress and duress of being lycanthropes and because of this they are not forced to shift even at their weakest level by strong emotions, blood, sex or even seeing others shift. Also shifters do not suffer from shift comas at all, end of story, the ability to shift forms is natural and does not tax their energy stores.
* -Totem Animal-:
Shifters can speak with animals of their own kind as easily as they can converse with the humans they speak to. They speak to them through verbal and physical signals. It is not considered odd to see a shifter speaking with an animal as if it where a person.
======Strong======
* -Alpha Supremacy-:
Shifters at this level have the ability to cause shifters of their own kind to shift and take their animal form, or pull those already shifted out of their form. This ability is not completely useless against another strong shifter, since it causes a painful sensation that wracks their bodies. This ability also has the secondary effect of allowing shifters of higher levels to force lower level shifters to obey them.
* -Animal Companion-:
Strong Shifters can control an animal of the same species as themselves, aka a dog who had the form of a great dane, would not be limited to calling only great danes, but any dog to be his companion. Animals that are brought to the shifter this way will fight to the death for their master and while they do not gain powers or marks like a beast servant they do gain a few gifts. Animal companion have their strength and speed is increased higher than their natural limits, their senses are also increased slightly. If the animal dies the master is not effected other than the emotional loss of losing a close friend or family member. They may call another animal companion whenever they wish but may never have more than one of them.

Swan :
* Song: Swans can emit a beautiful eerie song that seizes the heart of those near them and immediately tampers out any hostile emotions towards the swan. This effect lasts only as long as the swan is within hearing distance. This ability effects even those far stronger then a swan, though the stronger the opponent, the more likely they will retain some of their original intent and act upon it.
* Reality: Swans are attractive for some unknown reason and unlike other shifters they blend in better than others. Their beauty is far superior to that of normal people. Swans who ask for help are rarely turned down except by those with an extraordinary strong will. The more dangerous or threatening the request, the more likely it will be turned down.
* Trumpet!: Swans can release a deafening trumpeting cry that deafens all non swans within twenty feet. This ability doesn’t truly deafen forever, it is temporary and due to its power it also makes casting any magic or rituals that requires words nearly impossible to do.
* Black Swans Gift: Swans with this rare power do not gain the two breed powers, only this one. Black swans have an ancient and dark magic coursing through their veins and their swan is a jet black. (Black colored swans exist, but not all have this power.) Swans with this ability are born with their magic in tow (due to some fae heritage); they have the ability to use a form of glamour to make themselves far more attractive, sometimes inhumanly so. They also have the ability to seduce people via the sound of their voice and put them into a minor hypnotic trance making them highly susceptible to suggestions. (Please note that the hypnotic trance does not work on creatures Master/Alpha or above as they are mentally too strong.)
Dog:
* Charge: Dogs will defend their home and friends with vigour. What they consider theirs is theirs plain and simple. When attacked a Dog may invoke this ability and increase his physical prowess to a lycanthrope like level for five minutes. (Weak is moderate, Strong is strong moderate and leader is weak alpha) after this ability has been used the Dog is exhausted and in pain due to the tremendous strain of using this metaphysical ability.
* Lock Jaw: A dog that bites can lock its jaw ensuring it can only be removed in two ways, its jaw is shattered or the limb is removed, EVEN DEATH does not release the lock jaw.
* Resounding Bark: Everyone knows dogs like to let a bark lose when you least expect it and scare the hell out of you, Dog shifters take it a step further, when they use this ability they force the other to lose a 2 attack actions, this ability can only be used three times in a day.
* Mortal Enemy: A dog may "mark" an opponent with his metaphysical energy, marking him to all Dogs as an "enemy" of their kind. This mark is bright metaphysical bacon that only a dog can remove with this ability. Wolves can sense it as well as can Coyotes though how they react to it is up to them. A person marked with this ability can be sensed by Dogs from miles away and they know to avoid the marked person or converge in force on them.
Crow:
* The other side: Crow’s can sense the dead, corpses, vampires, ghoul’s, zombies etc, they can sense these creatures if they are within 30 feet of them.
* The Deathless: Crows, regardless of level or power, cannot be swayed by the power of the dead. A Crow cannot be rolled, commanded, or forced into accepting the marks of a beast servant UNLESS the Crow chooses to accept being rolled, given the gifts etc.
* Scavenger: Crow’s are scavengers through and through, they have no qualms or issues with doing what needs to be done, because of this a Crow needs to eat only half of what a normal shifter would need to eat to survive, capable of surviving of less for longer.
* Spirit Guide: Crow’s have a unique effect on vampires; they allow them the ability to rise an hour earlier than they would normally have been able to alone. A crow does not need to be an animal to call, but rather simply within the proximity of the vampire who wishes to rise early.
Cat:
* Nine lives: A cat has nine lives literally. The cat can choose to expend one of their nine lives on a life ending wound and pull through in the end. Wounds such as decapitation and massive trauma (like your body being blown in half or burned to nothing) do not allow for this ability to be used. If multiple lethal wounds are received the cat must give up an equal number of lives if it wishes to live. Once the lives are spent there is no way to gain them back and the moment a cat reaches 1 it may no longer give up any more lives and this ability is fully used and spent. The cat will recover fully after 24 hours from the injury when using this ability.
* Reflex: Cats are swift and accurate. A cat is able to move in lighting fast motions, covering short distances in amazing bursts of speed that can rival a lycanthrope. This ability though is only for distances less than a hundred yards and in combat allows the cat to take one additional offensive or defensive action.
* Gouge: A Cat shifter can "Gouge" an opponent in combat. This wound looks and feels normal, but is actually a deep clean cut that bleeds faster and will cause a lycanthrope to rapidly become exhausted due to blood loss after 4 of these strikes. A human will find themselves bleeding to death from one of these and vampires will bleed out after 4 hits.
* Guardian of the Dead: A Cat marked as a beast servant increases their master’s power nearly twice as much as any other beast servant. This secret is known only by a very few ancients and they guard it jealously. This effect though leaves the cat drained of most of its power and is treated as a weak shifter even if it’s a leader. While the vampire most choose to activate this ability or the cat, while in effect the cat is nearly defenceless and any serious damage to the vampire that might have normally killed it, will kill the cat.
Bat:
* Sub Sonics: Bats are highly sensitive to sounds and because of this they don't need to see in order to track or find. Bats can fire off a sub sonic cry/scream to create a radar image of shapes and items around them. Because of the amount of bouncing this signal does, they can even without sight, have complete and utterly accurate sight. Also due to the high frequency of their sub Sonics they are not affected by Sonics of any range even if there is a metaphysical aspect to it.
* Sonic Scream: Cats scream, Hyenas Howl, Lions roar and the list goes on, but nothing compares to the erupting scream from a bats mouth. This blast of high frequency sound is capable of lacerating skin and rupturing ear drums in just one split second blast. The longer the bat holds the scream the more damage it does to tissue and ears.
* Creatures of the night: There is a grain of truth about vampires turning into bats and flying off into the night. Bat shifters have always had a special bond with vampires, though it is unknown why. A Vampire who has marked a bat as his beast servant with 4 marks can assume the shape of a vampire bat and fly away like the legends, there is a down side to this ability, while the vampire is in the bat form the shifter may not shift into his own bat form.
* Blood Drain: Bats can drain the blood of its chosen victim and increase their regeneration ability and at the same time increase the potency of their own blood. A bat that has just fed from a victim and is fed on by a vampire increases the vampires power for a short period (five to ten minutes while not in combat, or 3 rounds of combat) it increases the vampires power by one stage.

* Animal Man: Shifters with this ability are capable of taking a hybrid form, this form takes allot out of them, this increases the ability to fight greatly but at the same time the pain makes it hard to use their metaphysical abilities to their true potential. (lasts 10 min or only 5 combat rounds)
* Shield the Call: This is exactly the same as the lycanthrope ability; the leader may block the call of a vampire (due to their weaker nature they can only resist up to a Master vampire).
* Pure Blood: There is an ability only shifters carry; it is an ancient and powerful gift that is unique to them. A leader shifter may share their blood by dripping it on the wound of another shifter and healing the wound. With enough blood they can even bring a newly dead shifter back from the grave, the amount of blood required to return life has a 90% chance of killing the leader shifter who attempts it. (Effects Shifters only).
* Children of the Animal: A leader shifter has a telepathic link to all those in his group. Those in his group that are within the city the leader happens to be in can receive even complex instructions through words spoken in their ancient beast tongues within their minds. The power lends them the ability to sense all other shifters of their kind within the cities limits
